There will be no video today but just take the time to read this blog by one of the New Church Members from the New Church Perspective. http://www.newchurchperspective.com/essays/2012/8/3/forgiveness-as-a-state-to-be.html It is a nice sentiment but yet again it is the kind of thinking that dances around the prospect of forgiveness, reconciliation, and the True Love of our Neighbors that Christ speaks of in the Bible. The New Church always tries to take the literal and make it liberal or in a form that best suits their needs. In my case I can forgive Rachel but I have publicly done that but she thinks that maybe in her mind she has made peace with me but that does me as a person no good because it hasn't been resolved with me as a person. I can forgive but until she steps forward I cannot forget her actions and they have led to something greater that could have been avoided. Also in this she has allowed others to become part of her doing both in her and my life because of selfishness, arrogance, and willingness not to be responsible for the consequences of her actions. It is close minded thinking about forgiveness and other issues in the Church of the New Jerusalem that are one of the sole reasons I have to let others know about their faith. They seem to make stuff suit how they want to do things and not how the Bible interprets them to be. While I admit there are parts of the Bible that are not relevant to this time and place there are also parts of it that are very clear and precise and forgiveness is one of them. If we dont find resolution and peace between the transgressor and the offended in some cases it leads to more pain, suffering, and discontent. Rachel and the people around her constantly want more of this because to them just doing whatever they want and not feeling there are any consequences for their actions is cause for this. I think that is why Swedenborg was wrong and he wrote about desires of the flesh and one's own selfishness instead of what the Lord wanted for us and in that he was a false prophet.
Fact is this person who wrote the New Church Perspective Blog was right in one respect. I dont owe Rachel a thing. She doesnt deserve my kindness but I have shown it, My forgiveness, but I have given it, Nor does she nor did she ever deserve my love because she was selfish with it and disrespected it. So this blog always has been justified and she and the New Church people know it and that is why I have taken them to task and started spreading the word. If Rachel truly reached out to me I would feel different then again she doesnt owe me anything and I wouldnt want anything else from someone who doesnt have love in their heart and who is selfish on a level that she is so if she feels condemned and embarrased by the blog or the actions that I have taken remember she had a chance to change that but she doesnt want to. She wants to hide and cower and that suits me just fine because it shows others where her heart is and it proves me right and reflects on the state of the New Church Teachings. Pastor Glenn recently proved me right full circle as one of the reasons Rachel treated me bad when we were dating was telling me I was stupid for believing in Adam and Even and the Genesis account. I could have called her stupid for not believing so but instead I didnt I hung up the phone and let it go and kept loving and believing in her but he has proven that because of things that he and others in the New Church talk about that he was part of the bigotry and hate that espouses from Rachel and her family. I am currently writing a rebuttal to this and how arrogant and unkind New Church Pastors are. It will be sent out to people around people such as Pastor Cooper, Glenn, and Lumsden as I believe they are people who need to be humbled in their role as clergy especially Pastor Lumsden as he told me I should repent for this campaign but never once said anything about Rachel showing any repentance or forgiveness. The Church of the New Jerusalem is one sided and I have yet to see anyone follow the mantra of accepting all religions and welcoming others to Christ what I see is a bunch of close minded want to be intellectuals bouncing the same tired ideas off of each other and keeping in a circle which is not spreading the Word or helping others it is just being around people who think like you already and that is neither a challenge nor is it productive. You can think what you want to think but this is really happening Church of the New Jerusalem and it is all because of a hateful act by Rachel Myatt that could have been healed with forgiveness and talking it out.
